Melbourne Cocoaheads 2011 Meetings

Hi Guys,

As usual, the Melbourne Cocoaheads meetings for 2011 will be held on the second Thursday of the month from February to December. This year I’m hoping to get local companies doing iOS and Mac development to host some of the meetings, so be sure to stay tuned to the cocoaheadsau email list and this feed for information on times and locations (I’ll update the Google Calendar shortly).

If you would like to host an event or do a presentation, please contact me (sean@ittybittyapp.com) with your suggestions.

To kick things off, the February 10th meeting will be hosted by Daniel Kagan and the guys from Lookout Mobile (makers of apps such as Aussie Rules Live and Rugby League Live). They’re based out in Prahan, but are offering free pizza and beer to make the trip worth your while :-) . Daniel will give us a short rundown of what they’ve been up to over the last few months.

Also, Stewart Gleadow from Thoughtworks has also offered to speak about automated iOS testing, which should be very interesting for those of you left scratching your head as to how TDD can be done effectively on iOS.

I’ve got another speaking slot open for February, so let me know if you’d like to present.

Cheers

Sean
